This year we began our Easter Sunday with a sweet family time watching the sun rise from the big windows in our upstairs game room. After the sun came up we took turns praying and thanking God for sending Jesus to the Earth and for his death and resurrection. Even Judson thanked God for the empty tomb. At church, we had a great time of worship and then the Grace class (young marrieds) had organized an Easter egg hunt during Bible class for all the kids preschool through elementary. The preschool kids did their egg hunt on the side lawn and the elementary kids hunted eggs in the community garden. Judson finished with his egg hunt pretty quickly and then my parents brought him over to the garden to watch the older kids and see the Easter bunny. All the kids had a good time and filled up their baskets with candy.
