Jud's class wolf

Jud's class adopted a wolf and has a stuffed version named Gray that gets to go home with a different student each week.  Judson was super excited that his turn with the wolf finally came around. He watched cartoons with it, played Sorry with it, read to it, let it listen to him practice piano, played at the playground with it, and made it a special place to sleep at the end of his bed.  We glued the pictures of everything they did together into the class journal, then he wrote underneath the pictures about all of their adventures. It was a fun project and he did a great job!

Flag Football

Judson started his flag football season with i9 sports this month (March) and is having a lot of fun.  He has gotten to play all different positions and is learning more about the game each week.  He has scored several touchdowns and extra points, and has pulled several flags on defense as well.  He was super excited to receive the sportsmanship award for positivity at the second game of the season.  We are proud of the way he encourages his teammates, listens to his coaches, and gives it his best every week!

Sing Song 2017

We made a quick day trip to Abilene in February to watch Bailey perform in Sing Song at ACU.  We had some lunch and let the kids play around at the Jacob's Dream sculpture, then went and watched the show.  The girls especially loved all the songs and the dancing.  We also did a little shopping at the campus store and walked around campus afterward.  It was a fun little visit back to our alma mater!

Be Mine, Valentine

Valentines Day was busy with 2 parties to room mom for and another one to attend with all 3 kids being at Granger this year.  Judson's class has snow cones from Bahama Bucks and frosted sugar cookies, and they played games like musical chairs and a punch board for prizes. 

Avery and Kendall's classes both had yummy treats, played games, and passed out Valentines.  Their parties were at the same time, so I was VERY busy running back and forth and honestly can't remember either party very well.  I do remember that I was thankful for the opportunity to be up at school and spend some time celebrating with my 3 little loves.

Kendall turns 9!

Our sweet Kendall is 9!  She brings us so much joy and is such a blessing from God.  We started off her birthday celebrations a day early with cookie cake for her class and then a steak dinner at Saltgrass (her new favorite) with Mimi and Poppi.

On her birthday, she celebrated with sweet friends at our house with a pizza and pajamas party.  First, the girls made duct tape bookmarks and zipper pouches out of candy bags.  After crafts, they had pizza and punch in their colorful party favor bottles, and then Kendall opened presents.  Next was oreo ice cream pie for the birthday dessert.  We wrapped up the night by watching a movie, which turned into an impromptu dance party.  It was a fun celebration of Kendall!
