Growing puppy!

Noah is settling in well and has already become a part of the family.  He still stays in the mudroom a lot since he isn't house trained quite yet.  He likes being near all of us and the action of the house, but he tuckers out pretty quick and takes a lot of puppy naps!  He likes his little bed and the squeaky bone toy that came with it, although I don't think either will last long with the way he chews on them.  You can already tell that he loves his kids, loves eating, likes to play ball, and loves going for walks with us out to the greenbelt.

You can tell from this picture later in the month (or maybe it was in February) just how fast he is growing!  Kendall was sick and stayed home from school one day and Noah layed right by the couch to keep her company.

Avery- Kid With Character Award

We were so proud of Avery for receiving the Kid With Character award this six weeks at Granger for the trait of Citizenship.  She was surprised and excited to win this award one last time before she leaves Granger and moves on to middle school next year.  Here is what her teacher Mrs. Slye had to say about her:  "Avery consistently shows good citizenship by being respectful to others.  She takes pride in the work that she does and wants to help her peers.  I can always count on Avery to give 100% as she strives to do her best.  Keep up the good work, Mrs. Slye."
