Noah is 6 months!

Our puppy Noah is now 6 months old and has been busy growing.  Like most labs, he is a happy boy and loves life in general. He greets us every morning and every time we come home with full-body wiggles and shin-bruising tail wags.  Some of his favorites are walks, his people, stealing socks, licking water from the shower, playing fetch, chest and belly rubs, the neighbor dog Maxine, and going upstairs to visit Avery's guinea pig Coco. He is house trained and has even been sleeping outside his crate next to our bed for the past week or two. although he gets WAY too excited when new people come over or walk by, his is pretty obedient and is a mostly well-behaved boy. We love our Noah!

End of Jud's Football Season

Judson had a great game to wrap up his football season.  He scored two touchdowns and completed two little passes.  He was so pumped about his trophy and getting to keep his flags to play with at home.  It was a great season and so much fun to watch him and cheer him on!

Easter 2017

We were lucky enough this year to have both of our parents join us for Easter services at Southside.  It was a wonderful morning of worship, and we followed it up with a delicious lunch at Gloria's.  Later that afternoon we gathered with neighbors to have an Easter egg hunt for the kids on the street.  They had a lot of fun finding (and eating!) candy, and the adults had a good time visiting and enjoying the nice spring weather.

LTC 2017- Make Him Known

This year Avery and Kendall both got to participate in LTC over Easter weekend, which was a lot of fun. Both girls did chorus and Bible Bowl, Avery did drama, and Kendall did puppets.  It was neat to watch them be a part of several events each and to see them explore different ways to use their talents and gifts.  For chorus this year they had one big group of all ages and sang, "Shout Hallelujah," "10,000 Reasons," and "Shout to the North."  For drama they did a skit based on the movie "La La Land", and Kendall's puppet group did a script about looking cool and witnessing to others.  the kids all did a great job and it was a fun weekend spent with our church family.

Granger Talent Show

This was Avery's second year to perform in the Granger Talent Show.  This year,  she chose to sing "You Make Me Brave" by Amanda Cook with Bethel Music.  She did an absolutely amazing job and showed such courage and poise.  We are so proud of the good character she exhibited and her choice to use her God-given talents to witness to others at her school.

Boosterthon Fun Run 2017

This year we had 3 runners in the Boosterthon Fun Run at Granger.  They raised a little money for their school, got some good exercise, and had fun doing it.
