We celebrated America's birthday on the 3rd again this year since that is when Roanoke has their big celebration and fireworks. This year Amy and Mike clued us into a great spot to watch, which was at Cox Elementary up on the hill. The kids had fun running around and playing on the playground with their cousins and Seth before the fireworks started, and then loved watching the show with friends and playing with glowsticks.

Fishing on the fourth
On July 4th morning, Scott and Mike took all the kids fishing at a little pond/lake near Amy and Mike's house. All the kids caught at least one fish and had a fun time hanging out together.

June fun
Since the kids have to come with me when I have errands to run in the summer, we try to keep it fun in one way or another. This particular day, the girls decided to have a dance party in Target when they heard music playing on the speakers beside us. Judson was having his own fun riding around on the very bottom of the cart, which the girls were embarrassed about, but I thought was harmless and kinda funny.

| For Scott's birthday, I got us tickets to see Jerry Seinfeld at Winstar. He was hilarious and did not disappoint! |
Father's Day
Happy Father's Day to the man who loves us, works super hard for us, makes us laugh, serves us, and leads us closer to God ever day. I love you and am so blessed to have you as a teammate in raising our 3 kids! It has been pure joy to watch you grow into the role of father over the past 11+ years.
Father's Day fun at Sandy Lake Amusement Park
For Father's Day this year, we met all the Bedicheks for a picnic and day of fun at Sandy Lake Amusement Park in Coppell. The girls had fun riding rides with their cousins, Jud enjoyed the rides involving cars, and the adults had fun hanging out (at least until some started getting sick from the Tilt-a-Whirl!)
Sports and more camp
This year we signed the kids up for the Sports and More camp at the Hills Church in Southlake. The kids each got to choose one sport or activity to participate in for an hour or two each night, followed by a time of praise and worship. Jud chose soccer for his sport (mom fail on not getting any pictures) and the girls both chose cooking (got almost all the pictures of them from a friend). On the last night, the girls got to share some of the yummy recipes they made with us.
Mommy-Judson week
In early June, Avery went to Camp Deer Run for a week and Kendall attended science camp at one of the NISD elementary schools. It was a great opportunity for Judson and I to spend some quality time together and do some fun things. One day we went to Legoland and another day we played and picnicked at Bicentennial Park in Southlake. We went to many different parks together in his toddler and preschool years, but this was a new one for us and it was awesome!
