Thanksgiving and Christmas with the Bedicheks

This was our year to spend Thanksgiving with Scott's family.  We also used our time together to celebrate Christmas since we would all be going separate ways.  Instead of getting together at Memaw and Dedaw's house like we have done the past few years, we all went over to Doug and Sheila's house in Coppell.  We headed over around 9:30 to enjoy a pancake breakfast with everyone so that we could delay our big feast until mid-afternoon to give everyone more time to cook their dishes.  After breakfast the kids enjoyed playing with their cousins, jumping on the trampoline, and swinging in the backyard.  We had our big meal around 2:00 with turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole, potato casserole, deviled eggs, rolls, desserts and more.  It was delicious as always!  That afternoon and evening we watched some football, watched home movies, let the little kids open their presents and did our traditional gift card exchange game.  Scott and I were lucky to end up with the gift cards that we had brought- Kirklands and Itunes.  After snacking on leftovers and rounding up all the kids' new toys, we headed back home with full tummies and hearts!
Even though there's no smile, Judson did enjoy swinging and sliding in the backyard. Anytime he can play outside is a good time for him.
Avery enjoyed some swinging too since we don't have a swing set anymore.
Cousin Brooklyn was sweet to help Judson get in on the jumping action
These three girls did a lot of bouncing!
