When we had Kendall's birthday party, our neighbors let us know about a Daddy-Daughter dance that was coming up at the Southlake campus of The Hills Church of Christ. Scott thought that it sounded like a great thing for him to do with the girls, so the following Saturday night they got all dressed up and went out on a special Daddy/Daughter date. They had kid (and Dad) friendly food for dinner, did crafts, took pictures in a photo booth, went on a carriage ride, and of course, danced. From all they told me about it, it seemed like the girls had a great time and it wasn't too painful for Scott either since he knew quite a few of the Dad's in attendance, either from ACU or from our neighborhood. Wish I could have been a fly on the wall, but at least I got a picture of the three of them before they left and Scott took a few pictures while they were there.
