| Avery received 3 awards at the end of the year awards program. Way to go Avery! |
Rather than the regular end of the six weeks awards program that was always at 12:30 on Fridays, Avery's end of the year awards was on a Monday morning. That meant Scott was able to go to the awards too this time, along with Kendall and Judson as well. Avery received the Shining Star Award for Perfect Attendance, the Golden Lasso Award for Straight A's all year ,and the Walk the Line Award for Outstanding Citizenship . We are so incredibly proud of her accomplishments and all her hard work in first grade this year. And we would have never expected that with her history of Reactive Airway Disease that she would not miss a single day of school all year! What a blessing that she has outgrown that and is no longer on Singulair and doesn't need breathing treatments. She has grown and learned so much this year, and has adjusted wonderfully. She has become a full-fledged Granger Wrangler! The last few pictures are from Avery's end of the year party. It was a breakfast party with donuts, muffins, fruit, etc and lots of silliness after all that sugar! Just when I was thinking that the kids weren't being too hyper at all, they started getting crazy- ha! Happy end of the school year Avery!
