Avery participated in two music performances this month- Kuyanjana at school and her voice recital with Epicenter of the Arts. She had the opportunity to try out this year for the Granger percussion group called Kuyanjana and she made it into the group. She enjoyed learning how to play several percussion instruments including xylophone and drums. One morning before school they set up out front and played music for the students as they entered and then gave a little concert for the parents. It was such fun, pretty music and was a nice way to start the day. This month she also had her voice recital with Epicenter for the Arts, where she has been taking lessons this spring. She sang "When the Lost Get Found" by Britt Nicole. She did an excellent job with both the vocals and her performance, and it was fun to see her growth.
