Avery served as a Student Council representative this year in 4th grade and decided that she wanted to try out for StuCo officer for next year. She had to make 2 posters to put up in the school and write a speech to give in front of the 3rd and 4th graders. She had a great speech with some humor sprinkled in and cute moves, and as always, she showed a lot of poise and courage on stage. The 3rd and 4th graders voted after listening to all the speeches and the winners were announced first to all the candidates, and then to the entire student body. She was so excited that she was elected as a STUCO OFFICER for the 2016-2017 school year!!! Way to Go Avery! We are so proud of you and know that you will make a great leader for Kay Granger Elementary!
