Since she is a 4th grader this year, Avery was able to participate in the school talent show. She has been waiting a long time for the opportunity to be in the show, so she was super excited! She chose to perform one of her songs that she sang in her winter voice recital: "Fight Song" by Rachel Platten. She made it through two rounds of try outs in order to be in the show and practiced until she had the vocals and the moves down just the way she wanted. All of her hard work paid off and she did an amazing job! She showed so much poise even though she was nervous and she sounded great! By the comments and compliments she received, i think she really surprised and impressed a lot of people! I was so proud of her hard work, her courage to sing in front of 900+ people, and her choice to sing a positive, uplifting song. Way to go Avery!
