Avery and I got to go on a fun field trip with the 6th grade orchestra to hear the Dallas Symphony Orchestra play at the Meyerson in Dallas. Afterwards, we went to Grapevine Mills Mall for lunch and shopping. It was a little different chaperoning a middle school field trip, but the kids were all good for the most part and it was fun to get to know some of Avery's friends a little better.

Avery participated in a volleyball league through NISD called TVA this spring. It was primarily a learning league vs. competitive, but the girls did have teams they were placed on for the purpose of scrimmaging other teams. It was a fun little activity for her and hopefully helped prepare her for volleyball tryouts next fall.
