Avery has been asking for a long time to take a trip to Oklahoma to see where she was born and visit old friends. Since her birthday was last Saturday, we thought this weekend was a great time to do it. We had fun spending the night with our friends The Hagers from perio residency (inlcuding having Jacob's delicious homemade biscuits and going out to tour their land and feed the cows), drove around the OU campus, went to the Dental school, Bricktown, the OKC Bombing Memorial, and Mercy Hospital where Avery was born, and then drove by our old apartment and house. We finished up with Hideaway Pizza (our favorite!) and a swim at the hotel last night, then church and lunch with friends today. It was a fun little getaway to the Sooner State and the kids all said they had a great time!
