Avery's school events

May was a busy month for Avery at school!  She had a field trip to the IMax, presented a project on animal habitats and the environment at Night of No Limits, and sold pretzel treats for 3rd grade Market Day.

Avery and three of her classmates presented a project which included a powerpoint that they had done at Night of No Limits held at Byron Nelson HS.

And last but not least, Avery selling her pretzel treats at Market Day.  She sold all of them- yay!

May Events

Amy came in town for Mother's Day and she, Mom, and I celebrated with relaxing pedicures.  Then my Dad took us all to lunch at Corner Bakery. It is always so special when the 3 of us have some girl time together.

The kids also enjoyed some time with their Aunt Amy while she was here.

And now for a few random may events I wanted to include:
First is a picture of Kendall with her principal, Kimmie Ethredge,  after doing the school announcements.  Doing the announcements is always such a treat for the girls.

Next is a picture of our family with Bailey at her graduation party, which was held at a friends' house in Coppell.  Judson obviously wasn't cooperating (what's new?). Bailey is off the ACU in the Fall!

And lastly, a random picture of the kids making a pyramid on the trampoline and two of their first swim of the season in our neighborhood pool.

Judson also had his last day of school at the middle to end of May.  He had so much fun being in the Turtle class this year with Mrs. Amber and Mrs. Jenny.  He absolutely adored them and I know we will both miss them being his teachers!

Judson's spring program

Judson did a great job performing in his Spring program at SCP.  His class sang " I am so free 'cause the Father loves me."  It had some cute little lines that went, "I wanna clap my hands, stomp my feet, beat on a drum, swing from a tree, whee!" He sang right along with the music, did a great job on the motions, and really seemed to enjoy himself.  He also liked it after the show when we all got to come visit his classroom and see his work.

Rock Star Day and Kendall's Zoo Field Trip

The girls had a lot of fun with rock star dress up day this spring.  We put together some outfits from things in their closets and added some neon gloves and bracelets that I got at Claire's and some pink hairspray.  Avery really got into the rock star role when we took pictures before they left for school.

Kendall also had her first grade field trip this month and I got to go as a chaperone.  Her best friend Lexi got to buddy up with us to walk around, and then Erica came and she and Grayson joined us for the rest of the day. There wasn't enough time to see all the animals we wanted to, but it was a fun day and a memorable field trip for the kids.

Ft Worth Zoo

Since Mimi is now retired, Judson and I took her to the zoo in April.  The weather was fantastic and we had a great time seeing all the animals.  Mimi took lots of great pictures for us to remember our spring visit to the zoo.
