Avery's Spring Recital

Our beautiful singer!

Avery's spring voice recital was held in May at Old Bedford Schoolhouse again.  Her musical theater piece this time was "Let Me Entertain You" from the musical Gypsy.  For this one she wore a top hat and magician's cape and used them as props.  She had a little wardrobe malfunction when her top hat came off, which I know was a little upsetting, but she sang wonderfully and did a good job of continuing her song and maintaining her composure.  Her second song, which was one she chose, was "You Make Me Brave" by Bethel Music.  It was a beautiful song and she did a wonderful job, including hitting all the high notes.  She had a bit of a rocky start because the mic wasn't turned on, but she gained her composure back quickly and sounded beautiful.  We are so proud of our brave girl and enjoy hearing her use her God-given talent!
