Judson's 4th birthday party

Judson was so excited to have a party with friends at a place other than home this year.  We had it at the playscape at the west campus of The Hills Church, which turned out to be perfect.  The playscape was just big enough to keep the kids entertained, but not so big that it was scary or overwhelming.  We invited all the kids from Judson's Bible class, plus their siblings and one or two others, and just about all of them came.  The kids played for a little bit at the beginning and then ate some pizza and fruit for lunch.  After that we had Batman cake and then let the kids play some more.  We finished off the party by letting Judson open presents.  Each guest got a turn to sit by him as he opened their present, and then we finished off the party by handing out some summer themed party favors like water guns and sidewalk chalk.  He had an awesome time and we are so glad everyone got to come out and help him celebrate turning 4!

The kids came up with this one all on their own.  Seems like they usually turn out cute when it's their idea to pose.
