family pic before the showMonday night was Avery and Kendall's annual spring show at YCW. This year the theme was "Where the Wild Things Are". The auditorium was decorated like a rainforest/jungle, and the kids all wore orange shirts and animal hats and sang songs all about the rainforest. I think the theme and decorations were the best yet that I have seen there. Avery and Kendall both did a great job singing their songs and doing the motions. Kendall was so cute waving to my Mom and Scott when she spotted them taking pictures and videoing. Avery had her performance smile on and seemed to enjoy every minute of it. The music teacher always adds a little extra something to the Pre-K performance since it is their last year at YCW, and this year was no exception. The last song they sang was "In the Jungle (a-weemoweh)". The boys and girls sang separate parts and they did some really cute motions. It was a crowd pleaser. It's hard to believe that this is her last year there, but we are looking forward to her Pre-K graduation next Thursday night and getting her registered for Kindergarten next week as well. Busy and exciting times in the Bedichek household!
